Jiri serves as the head of marketing and membership overseeing products, market strategy, partnerships, web and mobile, advertising, brand design, social media and development of new services for pilots (manned or unmanned). Prior to joining AOPA, Jiri led the global digital effort for Brand USA, leading teams in Washington, DC, Shanghai and London. Previous to Brand USA, Jiri served in executive leadership and was a partner at several global advertising agencies including Weber Shandwick and LSB, leading digital marketing and innovation for Kellogg’s, LL Bean, Unilever, Nestle, Briggs & Stratton, GE, CycleOps, SC Johnson, Kohler and others. Jiri was also the founder of two technology startups working with brands such as Harley-Davidson. He is a motorcyclist, adventure travel enthusiast, pilot (seaplanes preferably), and also a commercial drone pilot.
