Columbus Emergency Management/Homeland Security
Riley Land is Deputy Director, Emergency Management/Homeland Security Division Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services and is the program manager for the Columbus Office Homeland Security UAS Aviation Branch, which he helped found. The UAS Aviation Branch has grown to eight licensed pilots and seven UAS airframes. Mr. Land holds a Certified Emergency Manager rating and a Part 107 certificate with small UAS rating. He is responsible for planning and coordinating all local, state, and federal agencies in the event of an emergency in Columbus, Georgia, and is in charge of training and conducting field exercises with the UAS pilots.
